Coach/Player Passes

Coaches Passes- With the games beginning on Oct 12th. all coaches MUST have an orange coaches pass clearly visible on the sideline. If a coach does not have a coaches pass, they will not be allowed to coach at any point during the game. If no coach on your team has a coaches pass, your club can provide a board member wearing a pink "superpass" allowing this board member to coach any team in the club. If there are no coaches wearing either a pink or orange pass, your game will be a forfeit and referees will be pulled from the field.
Player Passes- In the U12 age group & up, all players MUST have a player pass beginning this weekend. If a player does not have a pass the player will not be allowed to play. If a coach leaves his teams passes at home, you have 5 minutes after the scheduled start of your game to present your teams passes or you will forfeit your game. Please remember it is the coaches responsibility to collect all player passes from the referees at the end of the game.
2009 Referee Registration

Licensed referees can now re- register online for the 2009 season. Registration fees are $40.00 To register online go to Use any internet browser and go to this URL: US Soccer
- 1. Login ID: Type in the letter R (capital letter) followed by your 16 digit USSF ID number, no dashes. Password: Type in your last name.
- 2. You will be directed to U.S. Soccer Information Systems home page. Click on the "Referee" tab.
- 3. In the left blue panel click on "Referee Registration". Your 2008 record will appear.
- 4. On the top of the screen is your biographical information. Review it. If there are any changes, click on the link below the biographical information box. A new pop-up window will appear and you can edit the data. Save your edits.
- 5. Next you will see the Registration Type boxes you are eligible to submit (Referee, Instructor, Assessor, Assignor, Indoor/Futsal). You may register for more than one at the same time, if you are eligible.
- 6. Continue down the rest of the form answering all questions if required.
- 7. When you are satisfied that all information is correct, read the Terms and Conditions. Check "I agree to terms and conditions" and click "Continue".
- 8. You will be directed to a secure credit card payment site to submit your payment using VISA or MasterCard.
- 9. Please print a copy of the confirmation page.
- 10. You are finished. After approval from your SRA, your registration packet will be mailed to you.
CJSL Provides a News Feed
CJSL has now added an RSS feed to our site. This means you can now keep up with our headlines in many different ways. For those of you who use a news reader you can link to our feed. Firefox users can subscribe to our newsfeed by clicking the orange box in the bottom right hand corner of the browser and adding a live bookmark which will let you preview our headlines from any website (you can get Firefox from our LINKS page). If you use Google"s personal home page you can add content, create a section, and paste the link to our feed putting CJSL News right on your home page.
