Clovis Junior Soccer League-Programs
CJSL offers numerous programs to our members. It is our goal to provide our players opportunitites to train at the level they desire. Below you will find a description of our programs, and the links to each programs information page.
Recreation Program
This program provides the largest playing program in our league. Players 5-12 play in divisions tierd to their abilities on teams affiliated with their elementary school.
Odyssey Juniors
This program is designed for players who would like to play at a more advanced level, with coaches guided by the California Odyssey. These teams will be formed by High School pyramid. THERE WILL BE NO TRY-OUTS.
All-Stars
This program is a reward for players who have shown advanced abilities over the course of the regular season. Players are nominated by their club to participate in a try-out for the select positions. Coaches are selected by the Board of Directors, based on knowledge of the game and on the way they handle their players.
Teen Program
This program is designed for players 13-19 who do not want the time committment of the Odyssey program. Teams are formed using the High School pyramids, there are no try-outs. Teams from all areas of Distrct 7 are invited to participate.
California Odyssey
This program is designed for the players who want to get the most from their soccer experience. Run by proffessional coaches, designed to develope players, giving the players opportunites to play at the highest level possible. Teams travel throughout California playing in tournaments with the best teams in California.
Referees
This program is run by Eric Walker- Director of referees. Our goal is to develop young referees through on field training, as well as additional classroom sessions.
